I've observed over the years that, many of my fellow Christians, liked to express who they are.  They seem to have no fear to invoke God's name and approval of their personal causes and beliefs.  These same Christians didn't seem to have any problem at all condemning, also in God's name, those who disagreed with their personal beliefs.  I've long been amazed that these Christians have no problem invoking God's support, but any suggestion their characters might be flawed somehow was an evil accusation.  They have no problem creating God in their own image, but any suggestion that their behaviors, might be wrong is called evil. These are behaviors God has clearly condemned in the Bible, but they refuse to allow God to conform them to the image of Christ.  

I believe we, who call ourselves Christ's, must allow God to be who

he

says

he

is, and we must allow

him

to create

us

in the image of Jesus Christ.  It is not we who change God, but God who changes us.  God is not mine to command, but I

must

be God's to command.
